Antyodaya Anna (AAY)
Yellow Ration Card (पिवळे रेशन कार्ड)
Issued to the poorest families (BPL households, landless laborers, destitute).

Priority Household (BPHH)
Saffron Ration Card (केशरी रेशन कार्ड)
Issued to priority families under National Food Security Act (NFSA).
- 5 kg food grains per member per month (3 kg wheat + 2 kg rice)
- Annual income: Urban up to ₹59,000 / Rural up to ₹44,000
- Essential document for MJPJAY and Ladki Bahin schemes
Above Poverty Line (APL)
White Ration Card (पांढरे रेशन कार्ड)
Issued to families with annual income exceeding ₹1,00,000.
- Serves as an official household address proof
- Does not include subsidized food grain entitlement
- Required for LPG connections and domicile proof
